We live on the edge of the Cairngorm National Park, in Scotland, where we consider ourselves very fortunate to be surrounded by some of Scotland’s most iconic wildlife. From red squirrels to roe and red deer. Mountain hares too. Plus bird life in abundance. Inland and coastal – we’ve got it all. With coastal regions accessible within less than an hour we can be in position and ready to capture our marine feathered friends at the drop of a hat.
We are also just a little bit in love with the wildlife of Africa. We fell under the spell of this great continent around fifteen years ago. It is almost impossible not to be beguiled by its warmth and its beauty. Remembering our first trip still gives us goosebumps. We are frequent travellers there now, having photographed Africa’s finest in Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa and Botswana. Namibia too – if you count drifting down the Chobe River while elephants cross from country to country across this wonderful stretch of water. When we eventually have to depart, we leave a little of our hearts there. And so it is never too long before we return.
